Funeral Service for Irma Lee will be Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 101 Main Street, Baldwin, LA.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Trinity United Methodist Church.
On the evening of January 20, 2018, God saw fit to call home one of his children, Sister Irma M. Lee. She was born on December 2, 1946, to the union of Rodney Lee, Jr. and Agnes Duncan Lee.
She graduated from Willow Street High in Franklin, LA in 1964. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) and graduated from Young Memorial in 1969. Sister Irma was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Baldwin, LA.
She was employed at Tidewater Marine Service for 27 years before going to work for the St. Mary Parish Council on Aging until her passing. Her greatest accomplishments in life came from rearing her girls, Agnes, Susan, and Sa'Ona.
She is survived by her daughter, Agnes M. Lee (Baldwin, LA) and a special person whom she loved as her daughter, Susan (Charles) Thomas (Palmetto, LA); one grandchild, Sa'Ona Williams (Baldwin, LA), and Susan's children whom she also considered as her grandchildren- Brittany, Jarvis, Kristen, and Krystal Thomas (Palmetto, LA); two brothers, James Lee (Houston, TX) and Wilmer Lee (Baldwin, LA); and two aunts, Josephine Edmonds and Pearl Lewis both of Texas. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two godchildren, friends, and neighbors to cherish her memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rodney Lee Jr. and Agnes D. Lee; two brothers, Rodney G. Lee and Warren Lee.
