A Celebration of Life for Jasper "JP" Pitre will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, 11:00 AM at Lighthouse MBC, New Iberia, LA with Rev Allen R Randle officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Lighthouse MBC, New Iberia, LA.

"JP" will be interred in St. James Cemetery, Jeanerette, LA.

Jasper "J.P." (as he was called) Pitre was born on June 5, 1960 to the late Clarence "C.W." Jones and the late Geneva Guidry Pitre. He accepted Christ at an early age as his personal savior. He attended public schools in Iberia Parish.

Disc Jocking was J.P. passion where he became and earned the name for his
Career in the music "J.P. Make Em Cry." Working for KJCB, 105.9 the breeze and lasts of today's music KIEE 88.3 radio stations serving for 40 plus years. He loved to DJ for various family functions, parade, and all occasions. If you knew him, he would always make sure that his sound was loud and clear (with Bass and Booming), so that when he's coming his music would be heard by all.

On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Jasper was called home to be with our faithful Servant, at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA.

Jasper "J.P." leave to cherish his legacy his wife: Wadriane P. Pitre, two daughters: Jasperlyn W. Pitre and Jatasha (Glenn) White, four sons: Johari (Shayla) James, Jsaykel (Lyric) Jones, Julance Phillips and Jerwin Phillips, two godchildren: Jorick Latiulas and Destiny Broussard, six sisters: Anita (Derrick) Mitchell, Veronica Pitre, Debbie Jones, Shirley Brown Harrison, Stella Brown, Delcambre and Gloria Singleton, Sharon and Pam Gardnes, four brohers: Randy Pitre, Troy Pitre, Chris Jones and Kelvin Lewis, one uncle: Shelton Jones, a special cousin, Stacy Moore, one aunt: Farinah Guidry, mother -in -law: Danita Johnson, father- in-laws: Wade (Bitsy) Phillips, Beau Micheal Phillips and Justin Phillips (Monique), sisters-in-law: Sheniki Phillips, Julexis P (Jagger) Charles, Danitral (Jesse) Phillips, Conxavia (Lawrence) Hamilton, special sisters: Adice Allen and Janice Hypolite, extended lifetime family: The James' family and The No Limit Posse' Biker Club, twelve grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: one brother: Jeffery Pitre, one sister: Belinda Pitre: two nephews: Nickarin Garden and Reginal Provost, one uncle: Jonathan Jones, one grandson: Jayce Jones, mother-in-law: Lena Mae (Mame) James, special brothers Derrick "Master G" Broussard and Kenneth "Wild Wayne" Honore. Knowing that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
