John Wells

A Celebration of Life for John Wells, will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

John will be interred at St. John Baptist Cemetery in Four Corners, LA.

John Wells was born September 17, 1957 to Beverly Wells, Sr. and Mary Volter Wells in Lafayette, LA. He resided in Four Corners, LA until his heart failed. He transitioned at 8:15 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Bayou Bend hospital in Franklin, LA, surrounded by loved ones.

John accepted Christ at an early age as he was baptized at St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Aaron Mark. He was a graduate of Franklin Sr. High, class of 1976. He became an employee of Superior Fabricators Inc. in Baldwin, LA for 25+ years. John had love for lawn care, sports, as well as love for his family. With free time, he enjoyed playing baseball, watching football games, and playing Fanduel.

He leaves to cherish a special friend, Cynthia Bell of Franklin, LA; one step grandchild, Simone Asay of Franklin, LA; three brothers, Minister Joseph Wells (identical twin) of Four Corners, LA, Bertrand (Cheryl) Wells, Sr. of Port Arthur, TX, and Reverend Kimeray (Dacia) Wells, Sr. of Jeanerette, LA; two sisters, Deborah (Felton) Conley, and Janet Wells both of Four Corners, LA; sisters- in-law, Yolanda Wells of Coteau, LA, and Faith Wells of New Iberia, LA; five nieces, Sandra Narcisse (goddaughter) of Columbus, OH, Desiree Gibbs of Four Corners, LA, Mary Wells of Lafayette, LA, Courtlyn Wells of Coteau, LA, and Onita Wade of New Iberia, LA; 11 nephews, Twaski Wells of New Iberia, LA, Bertrand Wells, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX, Allen Narcisse, Quincy Jones, Jeffrey Narcisse, Robert Narcisse, Terry Gibbs, Jr. and Terrance Gibbs all of Four Corners, LA; Kimeray Wells, Jr. of Qatar, UAE, Colby Wells of Coteau, LA; and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Solomon "Sudd" Wells, and Beverly "Bubblegum" Wells, Jr.
