Joyce Ann Madison Jones was born on January 10, 1954, and was one of nineteen children born to Arthur Madison, Sr., and Ora Mae Peirce Madison. Joyce fell asleep in death peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving husband and friends on July 13, 2024.
On January 30, 1976, Joyce married her best friend and love of her life, Michael (Mike) Jones. Shortly thereafter, they were baptized together as Jehovah's Witnesses, and as a united bond, they remained faithful on this faithful course enjoying much of their time ministering to others about the "Good News of God's Kingdom." Joyce remained on this faithful course until her death, and she helped to instill a deep love of God in the lives of many. She gifted Mike with many wonderful memories of their beautiful life together traveling and extending hospitality in their home serving Joyce's wonderful meals. Joyce made a name with Jehovah, and many who visited Joyce during her sickness expressed that they left encouraged. Joyce will be remembered for her zeal and dedication in service to Jehovah God. Joyce also will be remembered for her years of service in the St. Mary Parish School System as a Paraprofessional.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael "Mike" Jones of Baldwin, LA; son: Andre Colbert (Rene) of Gonzales, LA; sisters: Fabiola M. Henry, Debra Theresa M.
