A Celebration of Life for Kane Thomas, will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:30 PM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Kane will be interred at Chitimacha Tribal Mausoleum in Charenton, LA.

Today we remember and celebrate the life of Kane Ray Thomas, a man whose love, laughter, and faith touched everyone he met. Kane had a heart bigger than this world — he never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back without hesitation. His warm spirit was contagious, and his kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Kane found joy in faith, fishing, family, and the simple things. He loved deeply and gave generously. Above all, he was a proud and devoted father to his sons: Talon Ray, Bentley Ray, and Lane Ray. They were his world.

He is survived by his sons, his loving ma, Beryl Sedatol; dad, Pat (Juanita) Darden; siblings, Kipi, Seska, Niki, Tara, Kayla, and Candi; recovery family at True Freedom. He is also remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Kane was preceded in death by his grandparents and loved ones who now welcome him home.

His light remains in all of us — a reminder to live with love, faith, and generosity.

Rest easy, Kane. You are forever in our hearts.
