Kendrick will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, Louisiana.
Kendrick Devon "Bola" Jackson was born on May 5, 1992 in Lafayette, La to Paula Jackson and Morris Alexander.
Bola as he was affectionately known, was a 2011 graduate of West St. Mary High School. He was a humble, sweet, respectable, kind, and respectful young man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Bola was a joy to the family. He was reared i Sorrel, La by his loving grandparents, Mrs. Myrtle Reed- Jackson and the late Mr. Leroy Jackson, Jr. He loved to play video games and hang out with his family and friends and those other things: you all know what he liked to do!
He departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Katy, TX. He preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Leroy Jackson, Jr., Mr. King Alexander, and Mrs. Emily Swan; two uncles, Mr. Kevin Jackson, Sr., and Mr. Gerald Alexander, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Paula Ann Jackson of Jeanerette, La; his father, Morris (Georgia) Alexander of Jeanerette, La; his grandmother, Myrtle Reed- Jackson of Sorrel, La; six brothers, Derrick Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Dar'Rell Jackson, Terry Jackson, Tyler Jackson, and MarKeith Jackson; three sisters, Tanesha Jackson, Tae' Leisha Jackson and MarKiya Alexander; seven aunts, Gracelyn (Daniel) Wesley of Jeanerette, La, Ursula (Alfred) Sam of Sorrel, La, Kimberly (Carroll) Tillman of Sorrel, La JoAnn (Larry) Hamilton of Jeanerette, La, Doretha (Ernest) Sereal and Felicia Alexander of Broussard, La, and Toni (Bobby) Roberts of Houston, TX; six uncles, Leroy (Kioka) Hamilton, III of Four Corners, La, Micheal Alexander, Sr., and King Alexander, III both of Franklin, La, Carroll (Irene) Alexander of Jeanerette, La, Harvey Alexander, Sr. of Winnfield, La, and Wayne (Charlene) Alexander, Sr., of Birmingham, AL; three great aunts, Mrs. Doris Favors of Patterson, La, Mrs. Blanche Charles of Sorrel, La, and Mrs. Ida Mae Swan of Port Arthur, TX; two great uncles, Mr. Cleveland Jackson, Sr. of Four Corners, La, adn Ernest Jackson, Sr. of Port Arthur, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives,and friends who realize that earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal.
