On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, God sent His angel to deliver Kenneth Wayne Kelly to His eternal resting place. Ken, as he was fondly called, was born on November 1, 1965, to Ivory and the late Gustavia Washington Kelly of Baldwin, LA. Kenneth Kelly accepted Christ at an early age when he was baptized by the late Reverend Joseph Fields and became a member of Saint Stephen's Baptist Church of Oxford, LA. After many years of service there, he later joined the Saint Joseph Baptist Church family under the late Reverend Joseph Fields, now pastored by Reverend Ronald C. Young in the community of Saint Joseph, LA. Brother Kelly served as a member of the Saint Joseph Male Chorus, and he was the Vice President of the Usher's Ministry. He also fellowshipped with Special Providence Baptist Church of Baldwin, LA. Ken was a member of the Tri-Parish Gospel Ensemble and also sung in numerous choirs. Wherever he went and help was needed in the choir, he was there singing. Ken would be right there to render his service whether it was ushering or singing in the choir or singing a solo. He loved helping and didn't mind singing his favorite song, "The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow".

Brother Kelly volunteered at the Little Zion Community Outreach. He was also a member of the Krewe of Donnis.

Kenneth Kelly was a 1985 graduate of Franklin Senior High School. He worked at Wal Mart and Cypress Bayou Casino. He proudly took a cooking class administered through Saint Mary Community Action Agency. He was so happy when he received his chef hat and white jacket. He knew he really had it going on. He loved to cook; he was called the Fry Daddy. Whenever there was frying to be done, many would say, "Call Ken Kelly, the Fry Daddy." Ken did not mind helping people, he loved everyone and everyone he came in contact with loved him. He was a person that would give you his last.

Ken had a special love for his family. He was the youngest of eight children. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his father, Ivory Kelly, Sr., of Baldwin, LA; four sisters, Eula Marie White, Delores Williams, both of Franklin, LA, Tammy Lorrian (Ronald Keith) Provost, Sr., and DeAngeles (Henry) Freeman, both of Baldwin, LA; 18 nieces, 16 nephews, 23 great- great-nieces and nephews; one godchild, Abriana Lancelin; the Harrison Family; the Bowser Family; very close friends, Paula and Calvin Rouchon, Shelbra and Jason Cross, David Babino, Roslyn Hudson, Ann Kelly Spain, Barbara Lynn Jackson, Bob Jenkins, Melissa Barabin, Wanda Singleton, Vanessa Narcisse, Harry Francis, and the Wilson Family of Baldwin, LA, Idella Lewis, Julia Lee, Jackie Claire Bowles, and Sherrie Bowie; two devoted friends, Roy Mitchell and Frank Monnet; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Gustavia Kelly; brother, Ivory "Pumpkin" Kelly, Jr.; three sisters, Ethel Lee Johnson, Lil Gustavia Kelly, and Sophia Mae Mallet; five great- nephews, Keiland, Logan, Dylan, Aiden, and Jace.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to MK Dixon Funeral Home, 337-940-9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA 70514.
