Kenneth Ray Morris, Sr.

Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Morris was born March 19, 1956 in Franklin, LA, to the late Charles Morris, Sr. and Doris Johnson Morris. He departed this life on April 16, 2020, surrounded by his family at the age of 64.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Kenneth Ray Morris, Jr. Panama City, Florida; one granddaughter of North Carolina; seven sisters: Lottie Coleman, Doris (Matthew) Nedd, Sheila (Don) Olivier, Angela (Oscar) Steward all of Franklin, LA. Leisa Jones, Stephanie Morris of Houston, TX. and Yolanda (Jamanski) Flournoy of LaGrange, Georgia; nine brothers: Harry Johnson, Michael (Melvina) Morris, Rufus Morris, and Ronald Hawkins all of Franklin, LA. Joseph (Robin) Morris, Timothy Morris of Houston, TX. Glenn Morris, Jerome (Beverly) Morris of Oakland, California and Chris (Vilma) Hawkins of Gretna, LA; one uncle, Willie (Pat) Rack of Franklin, LA; one aunt, Celia Mae Pierson of Memphis, TN ; three special nieces: Tammy, Walneisha, D'Auntia and Tiffany and a host of nieces, nephews  and other relatives and friends.

Kenneth Ray Morris joined Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church and was baptized on February 9, 2020, under the leadership of Pastor DeAndre Johnson. Kenny loved to go fishing with his buddy, Mitchell Hamilton.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Doris Morris; his maternal grandmother, Emmadell Porter; paternal grandparents, Lula M. Dixon and Rufus Morris; two brothers: Charles Morris and Will Morris one uncle and one aunt.
