A Celebration of Life for Laine Everette Washington will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 1:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the service at MK Dixon Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA

Laine will be interred in Franklin Cemetery in Franklin, LA.

Laine Everette Washington was born as a twin on January 9, 1974, to the parents of Leroy and Laura Washington in Franklin, LA. On July 28, 2019, Laine was baptized by Pastor Wynord Thomas, at The House of Prayers Christian Fellowship in Franklin, Louisiana. On Tuesday, December 20, 2022. God in his infinite wisdom, chose Laine his precious son, and receive him, into his loving arms.

Laine received his education in the St. Mary Parish School System, he was an ardent construction worker. After years of a fruitful life, he married April Sinitiere, where their union born three children, three bonus children, and three grandchildren.

Laine's favorite pastime was listening and dancing to music and breeding/raising dogs, Bullet James, CQ, Yo- yo, Angel, and Bishop.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his parents, Leroy & Laura Washington of Verdunville, LA, wife, April Sinitiere, children, Deandrick Sr., Lavontre, La'Kira, Layla Pearl, Bryston, and Laine Jr., grandchildren, Deandrick Jr., Maurelya, and Harmony, four brothers, Terry (Crystal) Washington, Troy (Ezola) Washington, LeShawn Washington, and twin brother, Lorne Washington, one sister, Ebony LaTrelle Washington, a cousin like a brother, Ernest Blanks, Jr., four uncles, Larry (Greta) Lowe, Clarence Williams, Amos (Sue) Davis, Jimmy Davis, eight aunts, Shirley (J.C.) Milton, Francis Grimm, Evelyn (Barry) Williams, Jessie Rogers, Mary Yeggins, Josephine Wicks, Barbara Davis, and Sandra (Walter) Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He now rest in sweet peace until the return of Jesus Christ with those who preceded him, his brother, Marvin Gaye Washington, grandmothers, Elizabeth Lowe and Irene McDaniel (Columbus) Verdun, grandfathers, Leroy Washington, Sr. and Eddie Hills, aunts, Sherry Charles, Verland Barto, Annie (David) Howard, Dorothy (Ernest) Blanks, and Louise Williams, uncles, Wilbert Yeggins, Anthony Davis, Robert Grimm, and Albert Collins, Sr., great aunts: Louise (William) Gray, Edith (Haywood) Dixon, Idell Hall, Annie Green, Eliza Davis, and Celeste McDaniel, great uncles, Willie (Anna) McDaniel, Tucker (Gertie) McDaniel, Jr., Joshua (Rebecca) McDaniel, Sr., Freddie McDaniel, Daniel (Vivian) McDaniel, and Stanley (Florence) McDaniel.

Final arrangements have been entrusted by MK Dixon Funeral Home, 337-940-9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, La 70514.
