Lamara Rashad "Tuk" Lemon

A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020, 2:00 PM at Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Overseer Ricky R Lemon will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2020 from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Lamara Rashad Lemon affectionately known as "Took" was born August 1, 2006, in New Iberia, LA. To proud parents Lamara Paul Lemon and Shena Denean Bowser Lemon.

The story of Lamara Rashad Lemon is extremely special. He believed in Christ at an early age guided under the leadership of Overseer Ricky R Lemon and Pastor Alice J. Lemon of Radical Praise Ministry at 902 Main St. Baldwin, LA.

"Took" received his education in the St. Mary Parish School System through Raintree Elementary and B.E. Boudreaux Middle School. Lamara was a bright and intelligent student. Lamara was also very athletic and loved his video games.

"Took" spirit will live on through his mother and father Shena D. Bowser Lemon and Lamara P. Lemon, his two brothers Dre'lon Z. Buford, Lamarick A. Lemon and his three sisters Takiyah N. Lanceslin Lyric S. Lemon, and La'Mya L. Lemon.

"Took" will forever be in the hearts of his grandmothers Mrs. Sara (Brain) Polk and Mrs. Agnes Brown. His aunts and uncles Shawn (Pamela) Bowser, Shane (Paula) Bowser, Sherwin (Kim) Bowser, Marvin Gabriel, Javon Lemon, Brian Lemon, Paul Gabriel Jr., Carolyn Lemon, and Latosha Lemon. Also continuing to love him be a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and other special relatives and friends. As well as an extremely special friend Dearia Howard.

"Took" will join in heaven his grandfathers, Samuel Bowser Jr. and Paul Gabriel Sr., Great grandmothers, Enola Silas, Rosa Lee Gabriel, Mary Dixon, and Esther Bowser. Great grandfathers, Murrick Gabriel, Leon Silas, and Samuel Bowser Sr., and a cousin D'Vonta Leon.
