A Celebration of Life for Landry "Dede" Granger, Sr. will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Siracusaville Recreation Center Morgan City, Louisiana, Prophetess Debra Johnson, officiating. Mask will be required.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 8:30 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at the Siracusaville Recreation Center.
Landry will be interred at Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Landry "Dede" Granger Sr., 88, a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City, LA passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Ochsner St Mary, Morgan City, LA.
He is survived by his children Landry Granger Jr. (Lisa), Gregory Granger Sr. (Ava), Sharon Granger Jones (Rodney), all of Houston Texas, and Lois Granger Garcia of Arkansas. Two sisters, Eleanor Griffin & Betty Waukegan of Chicago, Illinois, One brother Harold Granger of Siracusa, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, a special friend and caretaker, Betty Carvin. Godchild, Gale Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bernadine Poole Granger, his parents, Mr. Glodis & Hattie Granger, sisters Ruby Irene & Faith Granger, four brothers Glodis, Cornelius Herbert, and Lionel (Pat) Granger. & great grandchildren Sarai & Daylon Lanus.
