Larry Michael Lowe, Sr

Larry Michael Lowe, Sr. was born of flesh on October 29, 1954, in Charenton, Louisiana and was swept into glory on August, 27, 2026 at his home in Franklin, Louisiana. Larry shares a life of 41 years with Greta Lowe. Together, they built a faith-filled family of four children: Larry Lowe, Jr. of Decatur, Georgia; Ezra Lowe and Tori Lowe, both of New Iberia, Louisiana; and Jondra Lowe of Franklin, Louisiana. He was also a proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Kamron Lowe, MaKenzie Lowe, Skylar Lowe, Jordyn Lowe and Jacey Lowe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Lowe, Sr. and Elizabeth Davis Lowe, his maternal grandmother, Laura Smith Jackson, three aunts, Annie Mae Green, Idell Davis Hall and Eliza Davis Brown, two uncles, Anthony Davis and AJ Davis, two brothers, Allen Lowe, Jr., Oliver Lowe, three sisters SherryCharles, Verlyn Barto, and Shirley Milton and one brother-in-law Robert Grimm, and two nephews, Laine Washington, Sr.and Anthony Lowe, Sr. He will be missed and cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren his two sisters, Laura Washington (Leroy) and Francis Grimm (Robert), and a host of nephews and nieces.

A Celebration honoring Larry's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, 11:00 AM, MK Dixon Funeral Home with Rev. Deandre Cross officiating.

Visitation will be observed Saturday, September 5, 2025, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Larry will be interred in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, LA.
