Larry Washington

On Friday, May 6, 2022, God called his soft-spoken angel home.  Larry was born to Mildred Shields Washington and Earl Washington, Sr. in Port Arthur, TX.  Larry attended school in Port Arthur, TX.  Later in life, he moved to Louisiana.

Larry worked at Morton Salt in Weeks Island for many years and later he worked for St. Mary Co-op where he retired.

Larry leaves to mourn his precious memories; his wife, LuAda C. Washington; son, Reginald Colbert of Jeanerette, LA; one sister, Betty Davis of New Jersey; four sisters-in-law, Gloria Washington and Amelia Colbert of New Orleans, LA, Elnora Colbert and Louisa Williams of Jeanerette, LA; two brothers-in-law, Leonard Lee Colbert, and Roy (Alice) Colbert of Jeanerette, LA; a special friend for many years, Ronald (Evelyn) "Chip" Chillis of Jeanerette, LA.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terrance Devon Colbert; siblings, Betty Maxile, Earl Washington, Jr., and Leonard Washington; sisters-in-law, Pearl C. Teno, Cora Bell Bryant, Laura Mae Selders, Marva Hines, and Lydia Washington; brothers-in-law, Albert Colbert, Jr., Frank Colbert, Sr., and Darrell Colbert, Sr.
