A Mass of Christian Burial for Lawrence "Jay" Landry, Jr. will be held Monday, July 11, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin, LA. Mask will be required.
Visitation will be Monday, July 11, 2022 from 8:00 A.M. until the commencement of mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Lawrence will be interred at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Mausoleum in Baldwin, LA.
Lawrence "Jay" Landry, Jr. was the first born of Lawrence Landry, Sr. and Roberta Paul Landry on October 18, 1958. He was a native of Glencoe, Louisiana, and resided in Baldwin, Louisiana.
Jay departed his earthly life on July 6, 2022, at M.D. Anderson of Houston, Texas at 4:45 P.M.
Jay was a very humble person who was loved by everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, hunting,going to parades,and spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his wife, Robin Notto Landry, with whom he was united in marriage since July 18, 1981; his son, Lawrence Deshun Landry (Candise) of Port Arthur, Texas; three grandchildren, Nicholas Deshaun Landry of St. Louis, Missouri, Yuri Neveah Landry, and Mona Adams both of Port Arthur, Texas; his mother, Roberta Paul Landry of Glencoe, Louisiana; four brothers, Lawless Hawk, Sr. (Barbara) of Broussard, Louisiana, Earl Landry, Sr. and Rodney Landry, Sr., both of Glencoe, Louisiana, and Glenn Landry, Sr., (Loretta) of Patterson, Louisiana; one sister, Elodie "Missy" Stewart (Derek) of Broussard, Louisiana; one aunt, Gladys Pellerin (Althemus) of Verdunville, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Landry, Sr., grandmother, Mary Dell Broussard, and great grandmother, Elodie Sterling; grandmothers, Mary Dell Sterling Broussard, Marybelle Guillory Paul and Loretta Darby Paul; grandfathers, Oday Broussard, Sr. and Acry Paul, Sr; uncles, Joseph Provost, Claude Paul, Eddison Paul, and Acry Paul, Jr; aunts, Gloria Paul, Gerturde Flemmings, Bernadine Paul, and Vera Thomas.
