Lee Andrew Armelin "Uncle", was born on January 15, 1947 in Charenton, La. to Victoria Louise Armelin and Edward Dapremont. On Friday, March 15, 2024, the angel of the Lord called him into Heavenly rest while in the comfort of his residence.
Lee was a fun loving man, yet very stern. He made you laugh but you knew when he was serious. He took great pride in keeping up his lawn and taking care of things he worked very hard to possess. One memory many can relate to was his truck, Blue. The whole neighborhood knew when it was time to wake up when Blue started up in the morning.
Lee attended schools in St. Mary Parish. He was baptized and a member of Greater Israelite Divine Spiritual Church #5 under the leadership of Rev. Isabella Gasper where he attended faithfully. He was very hard-working, dedicated employee for 42 years with John Deere Tractor company in Franklin, having never missed a day of work until his retirement.
Lee was united in marriage to Martha Carter Armelin on September 2, 1972 for 52 years. To this union, they were blessed with three children, Lee Andrew Armelin Jr. and twins Hope Marie and Faith Armelin (deceased).
