Lillian Mae "Teddy" Blanks

A Graveside Celebration of Life for Lillian Mae Blanks will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, 2:00 PM at Perpetual Park Cemetery, Franklin, LA, with Rev. Ulysses Mitchell officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Lillian Mae "Teddy" Blanks , a native and resident of Franklin Louisiana, born on December 28, 1940 to the late Elsie Blanks James and the late Joseph James Sr. of Franklin Louisiana . At an early age under the late Ben Milton Sr., he was baptized. She was one of 15 children.

On September 7,2020 Lillian departed her life on this earth in Franklin, La. Her wonderful spirit will live on in each and every one of our hearts.

Lillian leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children: (2) daughters Pamela(Phillip) Bourgeois Sr., LaTisha Blanks(Truman), daughter she reared Julia(Deon)Inmon.(2) sons Jerry(Betty)James , Matthew Blanks Sr. (Vontrell), son she reared Patrick (Rachelle) James. Twenty-one grandchildren :Phillip(Ashley)Bourgeois Jr.,Katelyn(Ryan)Alexander, Ajah(Brittany)James, Asa (Janay)James, Amicha(Keela)James,Aljacia James, Ach-sah James, Aneriah James, Eri'Keyonna Blanks, Tylon Stansbury, Tre'Alyn Blanks, Matthew Blanks Jr. Rhy'lon williams, Jermy(Renee) James, Jakiella(Randy)Carrol, Geselle Darby, Deonna Inmon, Drevionna Inmon, Deon Inmon Jr., Galvyn James, (13) great-grandchildren, (7) sisters: Letha Blanks, Shirley Blanks,Mary Bourgeois, Susie (Warren)Hines, Martha James, Alice James, Michelle Landry(Chucky) , (2) brothers : Walter Blanks Sr., Batiste James all of Franklin, La. (1) sister-in-law Eleanor Small, (1) brother-in-law Robert Foster Sr. both of Franklin,La. A host of neices, nephews, relatives, and friends throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elsie Blank-James and Joseph James Sr., (2) sisters : Salena James-Milton,Emma Johnson, (5) brothers: Joseph James Jr., Roy James, Alvin Small, Daniel Blanks, Frank Small, nieces, nephews, and  other family members .
