Luther Delasbour, Jr.

A Celebration of Life for Luther "Pop" Delasbour, Jr., will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.

Luther will be interred at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Baldwin, La.

On November 17, 1957, Luther "Pop" Delasbour, Jr., was first born to the union of Luther and Agnes Delasbour. Luther passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on November 24, 2023.

Luther leaves behind to cherish his precious memories the following; his siblings, Lionel & Sharon Delasbour of Verdunville, La, Wilfred Delasbour Sr. (Carolina) of Jeanerette, La, Jerry & Monica Delasbour, Leonard & LaQuitta Delasbour all of New Iberia, La,  David and Cynthia Delasbour of Abbeville, La; Jamie Delasbour (Belinda) of Franklin, La; Sylvia & Jeff Jones, Anna & Charles Green, Clifton Delasbour, Jason & Carlena Delasbour all of Baldwin, La, Brandon & (LaQuanta) Cleary Delasbour of Grand Marais, La; one loving & devoted goddaughter/niece Monique Arton (Hubert) of Baldwin, La.

Luther was preceded in death by his parents Luther Delasbour Sr. and Agnes Gabriel Delasbour; his baby brother, Delton Delasbour; maternal grandparents, Ernest Gabriel Sr. & Victoria Sanders Gabriel; paternal grandparents, Eugene Delasbour Sr. & Anna Johnson Delasbour; beloved godparents, Ida D. Sparrow & Jules Barnes Sr.; one niece, Zarriana Z. Green.
