Matthew Tillman

Matthew Tillman, Sr. was born on January 12, 1937, to the late Joshua ad Angell Francis Tillman. He accepted Christ at an early age.

Matthew was a loving and caring to everyone, many things brought great joy to his life, but none greater than his loved ones.

While in God's care he leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife, Betty Davis Tillman of Jeanerette, LA; four sons, Matthew Tillman, Jr; of Patterson, LA; Michael (LaTrail) Tillman of Baldwin, LA; Chris Tillman of New Iberia, LA; and Marcus Tillman of Montana; six daughters; Loretta Jones, and Consuella Bob both of Baldwin, LA; Shelia Tillman, of San Antonio, TX; Tina Tillman ( Joseph) of New Iberia, LA; Mellisa Tillman (Eric Phillips) and Shamarion Tillman of Jeanerette, LA; one sister -in-law, Rose Bobb Tillman, two brother-in- law, Rev. Nelson Davis and Min. Albert Davis; one godchild; Linda Colon, forty-five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Matthew was proceeded in death by his parents, Joshua, and Angell Francis Tillman, nine brothers, Morris, Dallas, James, Tom, John, Columbus, Joseph, Freddy, and Ivory, three sisters, Sarah, Alista, and Gussie, two sons, Barry, and Eric, one daughter, Shalonda, and one godchild, Priscilla Tillman Davis.
