Funeral Services for Menola Lumpkin Charles will be Saturday, May 6, 2017, 11:00 AM at Jireh World Ministries, Port Arthur TX, with visitation from 9:00AM until service time.
Dismissal Service will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 11:00 AM at House of Glory Global Ministry, Jeanerette, LA, with visitation from 9:00AM until dismissal time.
Burial will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Charenton, LA
On Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:50 pm God in his infinite wisdom called our beloved Evangelist Menola Lumpkin Charles home to rest. Menola was born on August 30, 1962 to Clara Bell Green Lumpkin and the late Douglas Lumpkin, Sr. in Jeanerette, LA.
Menola leaves priceless cherished memories to her husband, Byron; her mother, Clara Bell Green Lumpkin of Jeanerette, LA; her four daughters, Laquala (Joshua) Harris, Peterlyn Gray, Alexis Gray of Port Arthur, TX and Shadava (Jamaal) Delasbour of Thibodaux, LA; three sons she reared: Troy Narcisse, Sr. of Port Arthur, TX, Shawn JohnLouis of Jeanerette, LA, and Robert (Rodneisha) Jones of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers, Douglas (Beverly) Lumpkin, Jr. and Kevin Lumpkin; three sisters: Marjorie Boudreaux of Houma, LA, Rose (James ) Hebert of Jeanerette, LA and Carolyn (Michael) Casmire of Port Arthur, TX; 26 grandchildren and 1great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Gabriel Funeral Home is in charge of services in TX arrangements and MK Dixon Funeral Home is in charge of services in LA.
