Mildred Mae Jack was born on August 16, 1949 in Lafayette, LA., to the late Calvin and Leola Keal Rhine, Sr.  She was baptized at an early age and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.  She was a member of New Beginning Church under the leadership of Pastor Valerie Rhine, where she loved attending until her health failed.

She was a loving and caring, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and godmother.  But most importantly she was a woman of God that loved him with her whole heart.  She was loved by everyone who knew her in the Sorrell and surrounding community.

On August 29, 2020 at 1:15 A.M. the angels carried her humbly into the soft peaceful clouds of heaven's gates.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Wilbert Jack and from this union four children were born.

Memories of Mildred will forever remain in the hearts  of  children two sons, Wilbert (Rachell) Rhine of St. Martinville, LA; and Christopher Rhine, of Sorrell, LA; one daughter, Wanda (James) Mack of New Iberia, LA; stepdaughters, Laura Jack, of Austin, TX; Melissa Jack Johnson, and Sandy Jack, of Franklin, LA; godmother, Anna Teno of Sorrell, LA; one godchild, Ashley Loston, of Dallas, TX; a loving aunt she loved dearly, Violo Rhine, of Sorrell, LA; loving niece, Trena Graham, of Atlanta, GA; five sisters, Annie (Glenn) Touchett, and  Mary Polidore both of New Iberia, LA; Shirley Philips, Lois (Stanley) Gabriel both of Sorrell, LA; Priscilla Robinson of Jeanerette, LA; three brothers, Berwick (Dalana) Rhine of Jeanerette, LA; Harry Rhine and Namus Rhine both of Sorrell, LA; twenty-one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
