Funeral Services for Mitchell W. Hamilton will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020, 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home. (Mask will be required).

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Mitchell will be interred in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, LA.

Mitchell W. Hamilton was born on June 8, 1964 to Wilbert Hamilton and to the late Dolly G. Hamilton. He departed this life on Monday, August 5, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of thirty-six years Roselyn Hamilton, of Franklin, LA; two daughters; Erikeyounda S. Hamilton of Austin, Tx; and LaTarya P. Hamilton of Houston, TX; his father, Wilbert Hamilton of Austin, TX; a niece he raised, Precious M. Hamilton of Shreveport, LA; one brother, Joseph (Elaine) Garrison, Sr., Franklin, LA; four sisters; Melvina (Godwell) Onyemata, Annie Chris Hamilton and Audrey Hamilton, all of Austin, TX; and Shelia Hamilton, three godchildren; Kadeidra U. Bell, Kamora L. Edmondson and Kayla R. Madison, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dolly G. Hamilton, one brother and one godchild.

He will be remembered by all who knew him.
