A celebration of Life for Norris "Noisy" Brent will be held on, Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00PM, at MK DIXON Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA. Bishop Jules Anderson Jr. will officiate.
The family has requested that visitation be observed on Friday, from 12:00 Noon until the commencement of the funeral service at 2:00PM.
Norris Brent affectionately known as "Noisy" was born on May 18, 1939 to the late Jesse & Jessie Mary (Washington) Brent Sr. Norris was a native and resident of Baldwin, LA. He ascended into Glory at the age of 81 on Monday, November 9, 2020, surrounded by family and friends.
He will be laid to rest in Greater New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Baldwin, LA.
Norris leaves to cherish his precious memories two sisters Leona Brent of Baldwin, LA; and Merlene (William) Payton Sr., of Sorrell, LA; one brother, Clyde (Flora Bell) Brent of Baldwin, LA; two uncles, Ivory Kelly Sr., and Samuel Narcisse both of Baldwin, LA; four sisters-n-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who realize earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse & Jessie Mary (Washington) Brent Sr., maternal and paternal grandparents, two sisters, Dora Brent Navy, Mercedes Brent, five brothers, Charles Brent Sr., Jesse Brent Jr., Calvin (Geebie) Brent, Forest "Peenie" Brent, and Melvin "Sonny Boy" Brent, six aunts, and four uncles.
Simply, today the world is a little sadder because we have lost a truly humble, decent, and caring man. And in today's time, that is a great loss.
