Funeral Service for Ola Mae Polidore Butts will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, 1:00 PM at Israelite Divine Spiritual Church of Christ II, 120 Rosa Lane, Jeanerette, LA 70544 .

Visitation will be Saturday, May 12, 2018 , from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Israelite Divine Spiritual Church of Christ II.

She will be interred in Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrrel, LA

"On Friday, May 4, 2018, God called his earthly angel to ascend into heaven and Ola earned her wings. He came to Ola bedside and said "it is time to come home to rest."

Sister  Ola leaves to cherish her fond memories; two daughters, Donna (John) Sillmon and Evelyn Butts, both of Jeanerette, LA, one son, Roy (Ella) Butts, Jeanerette, LA, one sister, Sherry Polidore, New Orleans, LA, one aunt, Dorothy Mitchell, one Godchild, Marva "Sue" Wardsworth, special niece, Denetra Polidore, special Cousin Mae Nell Lewis, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two special sisters, Barbara Preston and Jerraldine Evans, seven sisters-in-law, Mary Louise(August) Davidson, Joyce Polidore, Helen Edwards, Loretta Butts, Diana Brown, Lois Butts, and Tracy Butts, two brothers-in-law, Isiah Nixon, Joseph Butts, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Butts Jr., her parents, grandparents, Della Jones Lewis and John Lewis, Della Marks Polidre and Oscar Polidre, four sisters, Theresa Armelin, Audrey Nixon, Debra Polidore, Selena Polidore, three brothers, Edward Polidore, Jr., Lionel Polidore, Rufus Polidore, James Maxie, one granddaughter, Lashekia Butts, one aunt, Idella Lewis, and a special daughter Altovise Butts.
