A Celebration of Life for Pamela Navy, will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.
Pamela will be interred at Greater New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, La.
Pamela Jane Navy, was born July 27, 1964, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus & Dora Navy Sr. in Franklin, La. She was the fourth child of the children born to this union. Pamela accepted Christ at an early age and baptized by the late Rev. Joseph Fields on Oxford Plantation. She received education from the St. Mary Parish school system.
Pamela enjoyed being around family even after moving to Georgia. She loved singing and had the voice of an angel. Pamela was giving, loving, and caring person and would make sure that everyone she came into contact with knew that she loved them no matter what. Pam also was a fan os Facebook and although her name wasn't on there, she made sure to let her Facebook Friends know "I'm not Angell, this is Pamela Navy." She was a phenomenal mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Pamela passed away peacefully and enter into her eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Dora Angell Navy, which she made known regardless of her age "That's My Baby" of Baldwin, La; one granddaughter, Brandranique A'Jhaylon Rudolph who she would affectionately called "Nique Nique" of Baldwin, La; a devoted niece, Torie Navy-Young (Gus) of Atlanta, GA; two sisters Laurie A. Navy and Andrea M. Navy both of Lafayette, La; three brothers, Darin Navy Sr. (Teri) of North Carolina, Donald R. Navy Sr. of Franklin, La and Rufus Navy Jr. (Melba) of Charenton La; two aunts Leona Brent and Merlene Payton both of Baldwin, La; one uncle, Clyde Brent (Flora) of Baldwin, La; one bonus daughter; Kewanna Kilpatrick of Atlanta, GA; and one bonus granddaughter, Angel Dash of Rochdale, GA.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Jessie & Mrs. Jessie Mae Brent; paternal grandparents, Louis Navy & Viola Simmons; her devoted godparents, Israel "Boo" and Maude Spain; two sisters, Tanya "Tut" Navy "her best friend for life" (also known to the family as Frick and Frack) and Vanetria "Peaches" Navy; and her beautiful niece, Yolande "Beyon" Navy-Jenkins.
