Paul Stafford, Jr., was baptized at an early age at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin, La.  He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart and received all his sacraments and attended catechism. After relocating to Jeanerette, La. He joined Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and served faithfully until his demise.

Paul Stafford, Jr., was taught the importance of having good work ethics. He was a hardworking man and provided very well for his family. He had several employments during his lifetime which included: numerous shipyards. J B. Tally and other odd jobs before retiring from Northern American Salt Company (formerly Carte Blanche).

Paul Stafford, Jr, attended Willow Street High where he played a saxophone. He also played in a traveling band and the saxophone was still his instrument of choice.  He also loved playing baseball and enjoyed dancing and listening to old school music and Zydeco. He loved being outside and during his pastime, he enjoyed being around family and friends and especially his grandson Bryson who will miss his "Paw Paw" dearly. Paul Stafford, Jr., was an avid football watcher of both college and professional teams, however, the Pittsburg Steelers was his favorite team. He never complained throughout his illness and always responded he was doing okay, or he would say I am doing just like the good Lord want me to.  He was a very humble and unselfish person.
