A Celebration of Life for Paul Landry, will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.

Paul will be interred at Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.

On July 19, 2025, God called His servant Deacon Paul Junius Landry from labor to reward.

On December 19, 1951, Paul Junius Landry was born in Church Pointe, Louisiana.  He's the son of the late Frank Flemings and Francis Flemings.  He's a native of Baldwin, Louisiana and a graduate of Park Avenue High School in 1969. Paul went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern University and later enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he ranked as a Lieutenant.

He was married to the late Diane Benoit and to this union one son was born, Jason Landry.  On September 10, 1994, Paul married Diane Conner.

Paul Junius Landry spiritual walk began as he was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Curly Baptiste and was a faithful member at Special Providence.  In 2006 he was led to join the Body of Believers at Hines Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ in Baldwin, Louisiana under the leadership of Superintendent Donald R. Lanceslin, Sr. and Lady Donna H. Lanceslin.  Until this present day, he was a very active member at church working in every space that was needed.  He was an outstanding member, President of the Men Fellowship, a faithful Sunday school student, a part of many committees, part of the male chorus, President of the Ambassador District Ushers, a part of the Ambassador District MOD Squad, and an Usher on the Historical Louisiana First Jurisdiction.

Deacon Paul Junius Landry will truly be missed by many, and his legacy will never be forgotten.

Oh, what a gentleman He was!!!

Paul leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of 30 years, Diane C. Landry; son, Jason (Candace) Landry; grandson, Baylor Landry; one sister, Jessie LeGrier; one brother, Charles (Debra) Katley; two aunts, Mary Lee Brown, Margaret Cooper; brother- in-law, Michael Hamilton; special friend, Dawn Lanceslin; god children, Danny Lanceslin, JuSean Broussard, Tyland Guilbeaux, Cullen Small, Carlie Bourgeois, Dorothy Jones, Lisa Oliver, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and uncle & auntie.
