Born on January 24, 2005 in New Iberia, LA, Quawan "Bobby" Charles was tragically taken from us on November 3, 2020 due to unknown circumstances. Though he lived a short life, Quawan left a lifelong impact on those he knew, and in his death, has impacted the lives of people far outside of his hometown of Youngsville. A quiet and reserved child, Quawan loved spending his free time fishing, riding his four-wheeler, and playing with his dog.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his mother, Roxanne Nelson of Youngsville, LA, and father Kenneth Wayne Jacko of Baldwin, LA, grandmother, Selina Charles, Franklin, LA, siblings; Brooke Henry, Youngsville, LA, Crystal Henry, Youngsville, LA, Roxanna Henry, Lafayette, LA Sharetha Henry, Lafayette, LA, Eve Greenberg, California, Tre'Vaughn Charles, Abbeville, LA, Lillian Louise Tardy, Baldwin, LA, and Jada Nelson, Baton Rouge, LA. Quawan also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and father figures Warner Sinegal, Lafayette, LA and Jason Nelson, Youngsville, LA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe Charles of Four Corners, LA, and Alma and Willie "Tommy" Jacko of Charenton, LA.
