Quintin Lane Ashley, born on July 30, 1955, to his loving parents, Joe Lewis and Dorothy Moore Ashley, in Ringgold, LA. He spent his formative years with his parents and siblings, in a loving home. He found Christ at an early age. He graduated from Ringgold High School in 1973, and immediately enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served four years before being honorably discharged.

After his career in the army, he migrated to South Louisiana and embarked on a career as a painter sand blaster where he excelled. He worked at James L. Gray/ GEO shipyard for 30 years.
