Funeral Service for Rachelle Denise Bell will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, 11:00 AM, at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center, 508 Oneal Chube, Franklin, LA 70538. Rev. Ulysses Mitchell will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center.
Rachel will be interred in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, LA.
On Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:42 P.M., one whom we loved, stepped out of time on this side into eternity on the other side, into a land where she will never grow old. Rachelle Denise Bell was born on December 6, 1966 in Franklin, LA., to Herbert Bell Sr., and the late Barbara De'Pass Bell. Rachelle was baptized at an early age at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, LA., by Pastor Octave Vincent. Rachelle was a 1984 graduate of Franklin Senior High School. She was always the life of the party where ever she went.
She was very out spoken. Rachelle was an avid Saints fan. Rachelle hosted "The Stop The Violence Movement" at Broussard Harris Rec for the last 5 years. There was never a dull moment with Rachelle, to know her was to love her, you just couldn't do anything else but to love her. She was and will always be, "One of a Kind" a rare jewel, that was RO!
Rachelle was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara De'Pass Bell, one son, Harold Defils Jr., one brother, Dylan White, maternal grandparents, Nancy De'Pass, James De'Pass, paternal grandparents, Mamie Bell, Joseph Bell Sr., three aunts, Annie Mae Brown, Sylviana Lee, Cora Lee Wesley, two uncles, Arthur De'Pass. James De'Pass Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Barbara {Shelly} Defils, Ty Tiyana Bell, both of Franklin, LA., two sons, Roy Thomas Jackson III, Royal Thomas Jackson both of Franklin, LA., one grandson, Harold {Bean} Hamilton, of Franklin, LA., {her heart}, her father, Herbert {Bernadette} Bell Sr., of Baldwin, LA., six brothers, Herbert Bell Jr., Avery Bernard Bell, Mark Anthony Bell, Luther De'Pass all of Franklin, LA., Brian Green, Adonnus Lewis both of Jeanerette, LA., four sisters, Lena Brown of Boston, MA, Carolyn {Keith} Guienze of Franklin, LA., Danette {Quentin} Jackson of Opelousas, LA., Delaine Bergeron of Scott LA., five aunts, Patricia {Kearney} McDaniel of Franklin, LA., Betty {William} Roper of Atlanta, GA., Mary De'Pass of North Carolina, Linda White , Pearly Simon both of Dallas TX., five uncles, Alfred {Zerita} De'Pass of New Iberia, LA., Clarence De'Pass, Milwaukee, WI., Oscar (Gus} De'Pass of Franklin, LA., Joseph Bell Sr., of Jacksonville, Fl., Early James Bell of Houston, TX.
She also leaves to cherish her precious memories a devoted caregiver, babysitter, loving thoughtful, caring, trustworthy cousin Miss LaKeisha Austin, she was her A1 from day one, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who realize that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal.
