Raymond Lanceslin

A Celebration of Life for Raymond Lanceslin will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Triune Church of God in Christ in Franklin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at Triune Church of God in Christ in Franklin, La.

Raymond will be interred at Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, La.

Raymond Arthur Lanceslin was born in Franklin, Louisiana to the late Ivory and Catherine Lanceslin on July 14, 1959.  He was a native of Baldwin, Louisiana.

Raymond was baptized at an early age by Rev. Curly Baptiste.  He was a graduate of Franklin Senior High.  He was a rigger at McDermott Fabrication and later he was employed by Cypress Bayou Casino.

On Wednesday March 8, 2023 at 12:02 P. M. he answered the call of his heavenly Father.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories; three sisters, Cathy Kelly, Claudette Lanceslin, Paulette Lanceslin all of Baldwin, Louisiana.  Four brothers; Melvin Lanceslin of New Orleans, Louisiana, Superintendent Donald (Donna) Lanceslin, Dean (Jennifer) Lanceslin, Danny (Tammy) Lanceslin all of Baldwin, Louisiana along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends and a lifelong friendship with Darrell Collins.

He was preceded in death by Catherine Lanceslin (Mother), Ivory Lanceslin (Father). Darroll and Carroll Lanceslin, Ivory Lanceslin Jr. and Randy Lanceslin (Brothers).
