A Celebration of Life for Ricky Martin will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, Louisiana. Mask will be required.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, Louisiana.
Ricky will be interred at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette, Louisiana.
Ricky's life was a blessing, his memories are treasured. You are loved beyond words: missed beyond measures.

Ricky was on born December 17, 1964 to the union of Ethel Lee Williams and the Late Larry Martin, Sr. He attended Jeanerette Senior High School and a graduate of Class of 1984. He thereafter joined the United States Army in Army from 1984 –1992. He later worked in the oil field industry as a driller.

In addition to his father, Ricky is now rejoicing in glory with his sister, Grace Marie Martin-Hill; his step-sister, Pamela Lyons; maternal grandparents, Roger Williams, Sr. and Nancy Antoine Williams, paternal grandparents, Frank and Orelia Martin; three uncles, John Paul Williams, Sr., Eddie Williams, Sr., and James Corsey; five aunts, Mayfaye Williams. Kathy Williams, Linda Williams, Mitilda Williams, and Rita Williams. Ricky passed away suddenly Sunday April 3, 2022 in his mother's home.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memories to one daughter, Reyon Warner of Beaumont, TX; one son Malik Martin of Port Arthur, TX; three grandchildren, Kealon Warner, Jaylend Mitchell, and JaMarre Mitchell all of Beaumont, TX; his mother, Ethel Lee Williams-Crosby and step father Walter Crosby of Jeanerette, LA; his siblings, Gwendolyn (Berlon, Sr.) Brown of Baldwin, LA, Diane Navy of Jeanerette, LA, Minister Bobby (Roxanne) Martin of New Iberia, LA; Gary Martin of Jeanerette, LA, Larry (Troylyn) Martin of Jeanerette, LA, Charles (Agnes) Williams of New Iberia, LA, Pastor Jackie (Carl) Minor of Jeanerette, LA, Nancy Martin of Jeanerette, LA, and Dwasha (Ron) Charles of Jeanerette, LA. Step-brother and sisters, Jack Lyons of Dallas, TX, Kimberly Lyons of Lafayette, LA, LaJuana Lyons of Dallas, TX, Marjorie Lyons of Dallas, TX, Kirk Lyons of Houston, TX. Three uncles Roger (Judy) Williams of Atlanta, GA, Charles Williams, Sr. of Jeanerette, LA, Michael Williams, Sr. of Jeanerette, LA; and five aunts, Elvie Corsey of Jeanerette, LA, Patronella Williams of Jeanerette, LA, Mirion Williams of Jeanerette, LA, Jennifer (Donald) Burns of New Iberia, LA, and Viola (Chester Sr.) Gilliam of New Iberia, LA. God parents the Late Henry "Pop" Robinson, Jr., John Paul Williams, Jr., and Diane Navy. Ricky leaves also leaves to mourn many other relatives and friends, too numerous to name.
