A Celebration of Life for Rodney Tillman, Sr. will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017, 1:00 PM , Asbury UMC, 910 1st Street, Franklin, LA. Rev. Jules Anderson will officiate the service.

The family has requested that visitation be observed Saturday, August 19, 2017 , from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Asbury UMC

Rodney Tillman Sr., 62, a native and resident of Franklin, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 10, 2017, at 3:55 PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Memories of Rodney will forever remain in the hearts of his two sons, Rodney B. Tillman Jr., Franklin, LA, Roderick Wiltz, St. Martinville, LA; Four children that he reared as his own, Derrick (Quovadis) Kelly, New Iberia, LA, Terrance (Shaquita) Clark and Donna Wilson, Franklin, LA, LaTasha White Galveston, TX; Three sisters, Cleotha Joseph and Dianna (Albert) Alexander Franklin, LA, Willie Mae (William) Johnson, Dallas, TX; Twenty-five grandchildren; Three sister-in laws, Eula Felder and Emily H. Tillman, New Iberia, LA, Bettye Tillman, Four Corners, LA; Two aunts, Vivian Tillman, Baldwin, LA and Rose Tillman, Houston, TX; one uncle, Matthew Tillman, Houston, TX. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful neighbors.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Francis Simpson Tillman; four brothers, Tom Tillman Jr., John Felton, Leroy Tillman, and Henry Felder; two aunts, Lillian Harrison and Edna Joseph; six uncles, Abe, Samuel, June, and AJ Simpson, John and Ivory Tillman.
