Ms. Rose L. (Perro) Washington was born January 17, 1929 to the late Dave and Lizzie Washington. A long-life resident of the Charenton Community, she departed her life on October 26, 2017 at 3:01 pm at Franklin Healthcare Center.
Rose accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Elder Earnest Perro and the late Bishop Ordie Perro.
Memories of Rose will forever remain in the hearts of her daughter-in law Ms. Audrey M. Washington of Charenton, LA; Four grandchildren, Bridget Washington of Sanford, FL, Leroy (Dionne) Washington of Lafayette, LA, Yolanda M. Washington of Charenton, LA, and Christina Washington of Atlanta, GA; Eleven great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly, Jacolby Washington of West Palm Beach, FL, Alicia Washington of Sanford FL, Zakia Martin of Sanford, FL, Leroy Washington Sr. of Dallas, TX, D'mani Washington of Lafayette, LA, Karianna Burden of Charenton, LA, Michael Burden of Charenton, LA, Amiyah Burden of Charenton, LA, Maurice Frank of Atlanta, GA, Alana Frank of Atlanta, GA, and Maurice Frank of Atlanta, GA; she will also be missed by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, the honorable Leroy Washington; two sisters, Artemese Bowser and Alberta Williams; and two brothers, Neg Washington and Ivory Thomas.
