Sedrick Tillman, Sr.

Sedrick Deshaun Tillman Sr., 42, a native and lifelong resident of Baldwin, LA passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Sedrick was a devoted and loving husband and father, a beloved son and a special brother. He was a guiding uncle, fun-loving cousin, high-spirited yet easy-going friend. He will be sorrowfully missed by his God fearing and caring wife, Amber Richard Tillman, sons Daylon Todd, Sedrick Jr., Kameron Rivers, and Jaden John Tillman. A special son, Derrius Hawkins, parents, Nathaniel Lee Lockett, Sr., Patricia (Conrell) Collins Jr. of Baldwin, LA, Michael Alexander of Baldwin, and Joy Rhodes of Houston Texas, one granddaughter: Alani Hawkins, sisters: Natalie (Roderick) Lockett Powell of Houston, Texas, Terri Alexander of Baldwin, brothers: Michael (Mildred) Alexander of Channelview, Texas, Craig Alexander of Baldwin, LA, Eddie Rhodes of Miami, Florida and Nathaniel Lockett Jr. of Houston, Texas, grandfathers: Conrell Collins Sr. and King Alexander Sr., special sisters: Paula (Centrell) Joseph of Four Corners, LA, Errickkeyona (Jarvis) Minix of Lafayette, LA, Tosha (Ronnie) Cage of Broussard, LA, Pamela Jack of Baldwin, LA, and Paris Davis of New Iberia, LA, special aunt/sister Paulette Tillman, m other-in law, Virgie Druilhet Richard a host of brother's and sister's in law's, god children: India Allen, Jayla Joseph, Kylin Watkins, Lordyess Johnson, and Jareyon Freeman, godmother: Iris (John) Tillman, a very special great aunt/ grandmother Rose Mary Bob Tillman, four special brothers: Harry (Kendra) Johnson, John Paul (Miecha) Layton, Centrell (Paula) Joseph, and Charvast Edwards, a host of aunt, uncles, relatives and friends.

Sedrick was preceded in death by grandparents Conrell and Mercedes Batiste Lockett, John and Ernestine "Vivian" Bob Tillman, Emily Swan, and Eliza P. Collins; sister Latricia Volter. aunts: Pricilla Tillman Davis, Brenda Hurst, Carolyn Lockett, uncles: Craig Anthony Tillman, Henry Lee Tillman Sr., Karl Lockett, Kenneth Lockett, and Pastor Conrell Lockett Jr., father-in-law Clayton Rivers Richard, best friend Laron Tinguee, and god-father Michael Ray Metz. Immediately following Sedrick's departure his loving aunt, Sylvia K. Lockett, whom he loved and cherished dearly, transitioned to be with the Lord. He is also preceded in death by a host of cousins whom he loved dearly.
