Shirley Granger

A Celebration of Life for Shirley Granger, will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 1:00 P. M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Shirley Granger-Davis was born on March 13, 1962, to Willie Stokes and Victoria Granger. She transitioned to her Heavenly home on July 24, 2023, after peacefully passing away at her home surrounded by her children, who love her dearly. Shirley accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Higher Mount Zion in Franklin, La, under the direct leadership of Rev. John Booker Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Avonne Granger; three sons Alton Granger, Ray Granger, and DeShawn Granger; three sisters Willie Beatrice Edmond (Frank Edmond Jr), Bessie Mae Mack, and Debra Welch; four brothers, Paul Nedd, Glenn Stokes (Kathleen Stokes), Alex Stokes, and Clarence Granger (Lorraine Granger); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Stokes and Victoria Granger; her husband, James Davis; one daughter Patrice Granger; one grandson DeShawn Granger Jr.; two brothers Lloyd Granger and her twin Paul Wayne Granger; two sisters, Patricia Green, and Victoria Stansbury; one brother-in-law Jerome Welch.
