A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley Lockett will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Jeanerette, LA (1325 Big Four Corners Road). Mask will be required.
Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Lockett Nash; two brothers, Ronald and Lionel Barabin, Jr.; three sisters, Lois Barabin-Thibodeaux, and Mable Barabin-Lockett; one grandson, John William Nash.
Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories: one daughter, Terri Lynn Lockett of Four Corners, Louisiana; one son, Jontrell (Ashley) Bowie of Loreauville, Louisiana; one sister, Gloria (Herman) Lewis of Four Corners, Louisiana; two uncles, John (Maureen) Barabin of San Antonio, Texas, and Joseph (Barbara) Barabin of Port Arthur, Texas; four grandchildren, Samuel Ellis Nash of Houston, Texas, Tristan, Jaylun, and Ashton Bowie, all of Loreauville, Louisiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to MK Dixon Funeral Home, 337-940-9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA 70514.
