A Celebration of Life for Stafford Ceaser, Jr. will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Baldwin, Louisiana. Mask will be required.
Mr. Stafford Ceaser, Jr.is the first of 4 children born to the late Stafford Ceaser, Sr., and Christina Lockley Ceaser on February 11, 1939. In 1961 he was untied in Holy Matrimony to the late Wanda Feast Ceaser and to this union of 58 years, five children were born.
Deacon Ceaser was baptized at an early age at Special Providence Baptist Church. He later moved his membership to Greater New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor T. J. Andrus where he served as a Deacon.
Mr. Ceaser worked at Major Highway Construction for many years. He later went to work for Domtar Carey Salt now know as Compass Mineral, Cote Blanche where he retired. After retirement Mr. Ceaser decided to go back to work and he started working for Mike's Carwash and later retired. In his pastime he did Lawncare services for family and friends.
Mr. Ceaser had his favorite foods, Fried Fish and Pork Skins, also he has his favorite tv shows, Sunday's Best, BET, MacGyver and Sista's.
He was known to many as Stafford, Sam, Booty, Daddy, Papa, Uncle Stafford, and Mr. Ceaser.
Deacon Stafford Ceaser, Jr., answered the calling of Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 10:30 AM at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Stafford leaves to cherish his memories his five children: Flonetta (Joseph) Alexander, Stanford (Regina) Ceaser, I., Tena C. Edwards, Kentra (Michael) Rideaux and Alphretta C. Ceaser; eleven grandchildren: Renata Colar, Demetre Mitchell, Stanford Ceaser, II., Arthur Edwards, Gabrielle (Kendall) Mouton, Joreck Ceaser, Deron Bourgeois, Stafford Hensley, Sr., Kody Ceaser, Denera Chartian and Trelles Mitchell, one sister: Blanche C. Carline, two sisters- in- law: Shirley Feast and Rena Feast, two brothers- in- law: Curtis Washington and James Burrell, two godchildren: Paula Lewis Callery and Keona Lanceslin Davis, and a host of great-grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stafford, and Christiana L. Ceaser, Sr., his wife, Wanda F. Ceaser, two sisters, Gloria C. Washington, Vivian C. Burrell, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
