A Celebration of Life for Taj Broussard, will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin,La.

Visitation will be Saturday February 3, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin,La.

Taj Michael Broussard, 27, a native of Morgan City, LA and resident of Lafayette, LA transitioned on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Nakeia (Junior) Broussard of Morgan City, LA; his father, Derek (Antrina) Brown of Baldwin, LA; a bonus dad, Hodges Matthews of Amelia, LA; maternal grandparents, Donald and Sandra Broussard of Morgan City, LA; paternal grandmother Agnes Brown, all of Baldwin, LA; bonus grandparents, Emma Matthews of Amelia, LA; and Loretha (Roland) Alexander of Jeanerette, LA; one aunt, Yosheka (Wilson Labbe) Broussard of Morgan City, LA; four uncles, Donald (Domeca) Broussard, Jr. of Lafayette, LA; Josh Roberson and Jace Randle of Morgan City, LA; and Dwayne Brown of Baldwin, LA; eight brothers, Ty Broussard, Harold (Tre) and Tylon Edwards, Hodges (BJ) Matthews, Julez and Joel Roy all of Morgan City, LA; Kylon and A' zhylon Brown of Baldwin, LA; and one sister, Ashanti Jordan of Baldwin, LA. Specials cousins Trell, Chris, Tre, Brett, Shawnee, Jailyah, Jasmine, Tidyy, Myri, and Ariyel, Four nieces; Skyy and Raleigh Broussard, Ha' leah, and Shaii Edwards, and two nephews; King Broussard and Hayden Edwards all of Morgan City, LA. His girlfriend, Jasmine Hayes and her daughter Baligh. A very,very special friend that he held close to his heart, LaKesha Griffin. Special friends that were like brothers; D' Moore, Brent, Javon, Tyrin, Keith, Kyle, and Marty.

Taj was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Roland and Mercedes Broussard, Leroy and Susie Davis Sr, one aunt, Judy Wiliford, two uncles, Leroy Davis It and Stanley Jones.

Thanks to everyone that supported us spiritually, emotionally, and physically during this tragic loss.
