A Celebration of Life for Bro Taylor Johnson will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, 1:00 PM at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 3350 Washington Blvd. Interment will be in Anthony Cemetery. Pastor Eddie McGriff will conduct the services.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
A native of Franklin, LA and resident of Beaumont, Bro Johnson passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Baptist Hospital. He was 73.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife Marilyn Johnson; sons, Taylor Johnson, Jr. (Shonda), Carl Johnson (Adrienne), Reginald Sorrell (Trisha), Cedric Madison-Sorrell (Yolanda), Christopher Sorrell (Alisha); daughters, Shirley Richard (Tim), Robin Childress, Betty Joe Johnson, Jackie Johnson (John); brothers, Lloyd Johnson, Floyd (Lee); sisters, Irene Fuselier, Dianne Williams, Linda Sam, Pearly Johnson, Orelia Provost (Edward), Joyce Fuselier; aunt, Betty Alexander; uncle, Elder Leonard Jackson, 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a loving host of other relatives and friends.
The Johnson Family has entrusted final arrangements to MK Dixon Funeral Home, 337.940.9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA 70514.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
