Theresa Stansburry Pierre

A Graveside Service for Theresa Pierre will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 10:00 AM at Little Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Verdunville, LA.

Ms. Pierre was born on August 20, 1938 in Garden City to the late Willie Stansburry, Sr. and Corella Johnson. She passed away on July 3, 2020 at Franklin Foundation Hospital. She was 82 years old.

Left to cherish fond memories is one son, Kevin (Paula) Pierre, Sr., Patterson, LA; two daughters, Bridgette (Sidney) Williams, Garland, TX, Bethany (Eugene) Burrell, Charenton, LA; two brothers, Walter (Mary) Stansburry, Sr., Verdunville, LA, Harry (Minerva) Stansburry, Sr., Bakertown, LA, one daughter-in-law, Holly Pierre, Franklin, LA; 17 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Keith Pierre, Sr., Joseph Pierre, Jr., one grandson, Kedron Sophus, Jr., her parents, brothers, Willie Stansburry, Jr., Charles Stansburry, Lionel Stansburry, and sisters, Christina Davis, Libby Lee, Earline Stansburry and Lelia Simmons.
