Timothy Kirk Paul

Funeral Service for Timothy Kirk Paul will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Lewis will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 8:00 AM until the time of service at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

He will be interred in The Willing Workers Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

On April 16, 1969, Timothy Kirk Paul was the 3rd of five sons born to Wilmer and Betty Paul in which he marked the spot of a free-spirited young man.  Timothy accepted Christ at an early  age in which Timothy sang and played the drums in church. As a young boy, Timothy would sit and create an antennae and a horn for his bicycle.  He was very artistic.  He had a very charming personality.  His personality attracted many people wherever he went.  He loved the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.  His life long dream was to visit New York City and he lived that dream out.  Most importantly he always would sit with his dad and discuss different scriptures in the Bible.  The love for his family never went unnoticed ...definitely showed love to all.

On May 3, 2019,  in Morgan City,  LA, Timothy transitioned to a new life.  He leaves to remember his life;  (1) son, Jarell Collie of Germany and Teresa McNeal (mother of son, and a friend) of Morgan City, LA.;  2 step daughters and 1 granddaughter he help rear., 7 grandchildren;  4 brothers; Daniel Paul of Baton Rouge,  LA,  Dwain Paul of Lafayette,  LA, Carmichael (Chasity) Paul of Patterson, LA., and Damon (Jasmin) Paul of Prairieville,  LA.; 2 sisters, Sheila Paul of Lafayette, LA, and Tara (Derrick) Mickens of Houma, LA.; one paternal aunt;  Barbara Jean Otts of Houston, TX.,  his godfather, Otis Welch of Patterson, LA., and a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives and friends.  A best friend;  Jerry Phillips and Betty Jordan.

Timothy was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; 4 uncles, and 3 aunts.; his godmother, Martha Welch, 6 cousins and 4 great aunts.

His life is one to celebrate today until we see him again, face to face.  Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal
