Wanda Feast Ceaser

A Celebration of Life for Wanda Ceaser will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020, 11:00 AM at Trinity UMC Baldwin, LA with Pastor Darlene Moore, Officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Trinity UMC.

Ms. Ceaser will be b interred in Greater New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Baldwin, LA

Wanda Lovine Feast was born October 8, 1936 to the late Joseph Feast and Maryland Grant Feast in Jeanerette, LA.  Wanda departed this life into Glory on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 9:50 am after a good fight of faith.

After graduating from Jeanerette Colored High School Class of 1955, she attended Grambling State University for two years.  She later married Stafford Ceaser, Jr. on September 25, 1961 for 58 years.  They were blessed with five children.

From early childhood, she became a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Jeanerette until her union with her husband, Stafford. Then she became a faithful and devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Baldwin, LA serving on Communion Steward, Prayer Band, Hospitality, and United Methodist Women until her health began to fail. Many have held good conversations with her at Achee's General Merchandise Store or as insurance agent with American General Life Insurance.

Leaving to cherish her many, wonderful beautiful memories are her devoted husband, Stafford Ceaser, Jr.; son, Stanford Troy Ceaser (Regina) of Jeanerette; four daughter, Flonetta Bourgeois Alexander (Joseph) and Tena Ceaser Edwards of Ashton; Alphretta Clavis Ceaser and Kentra Ceaser Rideaux (Michael) of Jeanerette; eleven grandchildren: Renata E. Colar, Arthur L. Edwards, III, Deron R. Bourgeois, Denera O. Chartian, Demetre K. Mitchell, Gabrielle R. Mouton, Stafford L. Hensley, Sr., Dr. Trelles N. Mitchell, Stanford T. Ceaser, II, Joreck A. Ceaser, & Kody R. Ceaser; fifteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Harry V. Feast, Sr.; sister-in-laws: Shirley R. Feast, Rena P. Feast, Gloria C. Washington, Blanche C. Carline; brother-in-laws: Curtis Washington, James Burrell; two godchildren: Maureen S. Henderson and Shelia S. Clay; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Maryland Feast; her siblings:  Doris F. Solco, Effie F. Green, Curtis Feast, Mary F. Conner, Arnold A. Feast, Warren G. Feast, Sr., Rayford Feast; other immediate family: Vivian C. Burrell, Harold Carline, Geraldine Feast, Willie Conner, & Douglas Green.
