William Keel

Funeral Service for William Keel will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, 11:00 AM at St. Moses Baptist Church, Sorrel, LA. Bishop B K Stevens will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at St. Moses Baptist Church.

William Keel, a native and resident of Sorrel, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at his residence. He was 68. Mr. Keel was a faithful member of St. Moses Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop B K Stevens, where he served as a Deacon.

Left to cherish his memories is his fiancé, Ida Miller Phillips, three sons; Patrick Keal of Jeanerette, LA Gregory (Latisha) Keal, Lafayette, LA and Royce Morris, whom he reared as his own, Jeanerette, LA, four daughters; Kimberly Keal, Baton Rouge, LA, Octavia Keal, Charlotte, NC, Adrianna Keal (Derrick Lewis), Baton Rouge, LA, Ronshell Phillips, whom he reared as his own, Jeanerette, LA; one brother, Albert (Clara) Keal, Germantown, Wisconsin, one sister, Margaret Keal Coleman, Sorrel, LA, nine grandchildren, Enjoli, Gabrielle, Aaliyah, Sage, Kaleb, Ronald, Rashard, Rakwon, and Qu'Nhri, one sister-in-law, Ora Keal, Jeanerette, LA, his fiancé's mother , Joyce Miller, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Louella Stewart Keal, Sr,,wife Mildred Jones Keal, daughter Karen Keal, brothers Clarence Keal, Jr. and Cornelius Jones, brother-in-law Alfred Coleman, Sr, and nephew Markell Coleman.
