Todd Michael Toups

Todd Michael Toups life will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA with Pastor Chad Ducote, Life Church of Houma, LA officiating.

The Toups family has requested that visitation hours be observed on Monday, February 26, 2024, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA.

Todd Michael Toups was born on December 8, 1985, to Darlene Toups and the late Donnie Toups in Thibodaux, LA. Todd was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson, a special brother, fun-loving cousin and a high-spirited yet easy-going friend. Todd loved fishing, hunting, frogging, and boats. His greatest joy was being an exceptional father to his four sons.

It is known that our Lord God never makes mistakes, and in His infinite wisdom, deemed it timely on Friday, February 23, 2024, to call his son to eternal rest. Todd's departure leaves a deep and personal loss to all who loved him and who were blessed to share precious moments in his life.

He will be sorrowfully missed by: his wife, Jenna Toups; four sons, Hollister, Hayden, Gage, and Seth Toups; mother, Darlene Toups; siblings, Jeanice(Stevie) Toups, and Beth Toups; mother-in-law, Patty Pope; brother-in-law, Daven (Amanda) Pope; sisters-in-law, Kayla Pope and Brittany Pontiff; aunts and uncles, Tina (Tommy) Thibodaux, Rose Thibodaux, Michael (Violeta) Darden, Beverly (Mike) Shavor, Ronnie (Sue) Toups, Roxanne (Raeford) Smith, Kelly (John) Higgins, Lori Darden, and Paul (Crystal) Darden; nieces and nephews, Corin, Avaleigh, Davenport, Jr., and Brayton Toups; godchildren, Donnae', Ada, Koen, and Kayleigh Hebert, Isabella Salisbury, Daven Pope Jr.; a host of  relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Toups; paternal grandparents, Jean and Rita Toups; maternal grandparents, Myra Thibodaux and Harold Darden; godfather, Darrell Toups Sr.; cousin, Daniel Shavor; aunts, Cindy Naquin and Pamela Thibodeaux; father-in-law, David Pope; grandparents, Edwin and Linda Hebert.

Todd's four sons, Hollister, Hayden, Gage, and Seth, alongside Tommy, Daven, Brayton and Boo will serve as active pallbearers.

Glen, Lance, and Byron will serve as honorary pallbearers.
